" I have to say that the gig was tremendous, and the renditions of Dry Kids, Retread and Free Ride, were the best I have heard. The sound was excellent, and Danny's voice was great the whole way through. He also looked great in his yellow glasses and brown shirt. He managed to get the audience going instantly, with shouts of "Come on!" and the fact that he jumped of the stage and shook hands with everyone at the front, including myself. It was definitely loud enough, although I was right next to the speaker. At one point a prat from the audience shouted at Mick, "Turn off the backing tape!" So in the encore Danny said "So you reckon we use f*****g backing tapes do you?" and got Mick to do a really complicated version of AYGGP. Any critics should have been at that gig, it would have shut them up as it was brilliant. It also sounds like the album will be good as the tracks Danny said would be on it were.
