Here's what TP had to say about Embrace's forthcoming releases:

Okay, the band have asked me to make the following clear.....

Firsty, it was originally intended by Virgin that there would be another "full blown" single from the album after "My Weakness Is None Of Your Business". Hence, The Abbey Road EP was to be released in two parts, with the second part due to follow with the next single

However, as a result of concerns over criticism from fans about "milking the album" THE BAND decided that there would not be another single taken from the album. And that is still the case (Steve Lamacq has not yet announced the full story).

What the band HAVE decided to do (and again this was prompted by criticism from some fans about the fact that the later EPs were not available on 12") is make all the EPs to date available on 12" vynil.

In doing this however, there were still tracks that were available on CD that would not be available on vinyl - "One Big Family (Perfecto Mix)", "Butter Wouldn't Melt (Live)" and "Dry Kids (Live)" and the "import" version of "Blind".

So, there is a new EP ("The Good Will Out EP") which includes "Butter" & "Dry Kids" (Live) and the import version of "Blind" together with the track "The Good Will Out" from the album. THIS RELEASE IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON VINYL. It contains nothing that has not previously been available to CD buyers and there is absolutely no need for anybody to buy it for any other reason than the fact that they buy their music on vinyl..

The reason that "The Good Will Out" is on there is pure and simply because the band are massively proud of it and it seemed like a good excuse to get it played on the radio. Why not?

To complete the story "One Big Family (Perfecto)" has been added to the "My Weakness EP" for the vinyl version. This also means that the release together with the new EP and all the other EPs will be disqualified from the charts on the four tracks rule.

Very finally, Part Two of the Abbey Road EP will be made available by mail order by way of keeping the price down and making sure it gets direct to the fans. Details on this to follow.
