I don't know what to say! You want to know a little bit about me?!
My Joys
and Devotions:
My family is my joy in life! I have a husband
and 2 beautiful children. You may have gotten the wrong idea back on my
home page! I am devoted to my family!! I do have to say though, I
get great joy from listening to Dave baby sing and watching him perform!;)
I really do love being a wife and mother. I have been married
16
years to the same man!
Wow! I know, what a surprise!
(No, we are not "old"! We aren't going to tell how old we are anymore!) Jeff is quite good looking himself!! Tall, dark and handsome!!
You know what, if you go look at the Useless
video clip; my husband resembles
Dave in that video, alot!
My
little boys are adorable too; the older one has brown hair and bluegreen
eyes and the little one has light golden blonde hair and blue eyes.
I really have to stop and thank God everyday
for all the wonderful blessings He has given me!

My
Interests
I have so many interests!! I love so
many things! I don't want to be bored with life! So let me
tell you you a little bit. I love
to do anything on the computer I surf the web, look up things, download
lots of stuff, do lots of graphic design projects and photo projects. I love music and love to dance. I have
a background of music, almost all the time, in my house. Some of
my favorite bands or musicians are...Depeche
Mode , New. Order, Garbage, Curve. Recoil,
Cold, The
Cure , Stabbing Westward, VAST, Pet Shop Boys, Foo
Fighters, Morcheeba, Everclear, and Local H. I also do crafty things; sew (for
the home; not much into
making clothing), painting, marbleizing,
decorating, etc.... I am also an avid reader; preferring non-fiction.
I am a novice gardener. I love to have beautiful plants and flowers
around as well as fruits and vegetables. As far as TV goes, I really love
comedy! I love (used to love a whole lot more from '87 to '95 or
'96) Saturday Night Live. I am a huge Chris Farley and David Spade fan!
I have really grown to love the SNL cast members that have been on the last 5
years too. I love Will Farrell and Chris Kattan. I also like to watch
Fox News,
CNN News, CNBC, The Weather Channel, all the Discovery Channels, TLC, DIY,
Animal Planet, HGTV, MTV2, VH1, VH1 Classic and Much Music. I
really don't have much time to watch TV, but when I do, these are the things
I watch. Oh, I'm lying...I watch TV as much as I can! Especially HGTV, DIY and
the music channels

alot of intrests!)
Movies:
I don't get
to see many movies that I really want to see because I am usually taking my
children and I have to be very selective with the movies I will allow them to
see. Still, some of the latest movies I have seen are: The Others
(loved it), What Lies Beneath (loved it), Spiderman, and we are going to see
Star Wars Attack of the Clones tomorrow night (5/17/02)
Concerts:
Jeff and I love to go to concerts!!
We are usually found in the mosh pit at the stage railing at concerts.
He's really tall and I'm just a little taller than most of the girls!
Some of the recent concerts we have been to see: Garbage,
Blink 182 AND THE BIGGIE.....DEPECHE MODE...FRONT ROW AND CENTER IN DALLAS! We also went to see DM in San Antonio...our seats weren't the greatest. We like to see bands at the smaller venues, like Trees,
Deep Ellum Live and even the Bronco Bowl........in Dallas, TX.
Dancing:
We also love to go dancing. We haven't been in a
very long time though.
The

Well,
let me tell you just a little bit more about myself. I should have
put this first and foremost, but didn't. I am a born again Christian.
Don't let that turn you off. Somewhere I read something very profound,
let me paraphrase it for you; When you buy fruits, say like an apple,
you get it home and it looks really good! You wash it and bite into
it and find a brown mushy spot or maybe a worm! Yuck!! Well,
do you (a) throw the apple out? (b) cut out the rotten part and continue
eating it? or (c) throw the entire bunch of apples
away, because if one apple in the bunch is bad, they have all got to be
just as bad!
Well, answer
(c) sounds a little crazy to me, but that is the way much of the world
views Christians and Christianity! Christians are not perfect and
neither are you! (shocking revelation, I know!!) There are always "bad
apples" in every bunch, but it doesn't make all the apples bad! One
"televangelist" might have hookers, steal money, fake healings, etc...
but that doesn't mean they all do that!! Really! Persecution
against Christians is really alot like racism. You can use the same
analogy. Do you hate all "white", "black" (or insert the race of
choice) just because some in that race are criminals or racists themselves?
Get the point?

"That if
you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart
that God raised him from the dead, you WILL BE SAVED. For it is with
your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth
that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who
trusts in him will never be put to shame." For there is no difference
between Jew and Gentile- the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses
all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord WILL
BE SAVED."
Romans
10:9-13
You might as
well! You have nothing to loose! I'd rather be safe than sorry
and go ahead and confess this. Because, what if all of this "Jesus
stuff" is for real? If I believed and confessed Jesus as my savior,
I'm going to heaven for sure. If I didn't, I'm going
to Hell. What did I loose during my lifetime for believing
in Jesus? Nothing. I still lived a wonderful, fun, mostly happy,
exciting life! Yeah, I'd rather be safe than sorry!
