The skag rushed to his brain in a cosmic smash of planets, high heels and last night's dinner. "Sir..." His world floated away and his brain was empty. He only knew the cool, calm slam that took him to the heavens. "...sir," He slowly relaxed unfurled his fist and the needle fell to the floor with a 'clink.' He drifted toward the sun unaware of everything and anything. "Sir..." Suddenly, he was down, and the hot, sticky air pressed in on him like bricks. He was standing now, didn't know where he was or where he had been. Nothing registered in his mind. He clutched the steel railing to his right, his darkened eyes blankly staring. People swirled around him, busy in their nine-to-five schedule, hurrying to catch the 1:05 train. Someone grabbed his right arm, and he barely felt it through his heavy, black trenchcaot. "Sir, do you need to go to the hospital?"
