This section is full of proof of why Xander and Giles belong together, and shows instances where they've 'shared a moment'.
Let's start with 'The Pack', shall we?
Giles: I've been reading up on my, uh, animal possession, and I cannot find anything anywhere about memory loss afterwards.
Xander: Did you tell them that?
Giles: (leans to Xander's ear) Your secret dies with me.
Xander: Shoot me, stuff me, mount me.
Giles pats him on the shoulder as he shakes his head and starts walking along the balcony. He leans on the railing and watches Xander go. Xander can't believe what has happened to him. ]
Well, Xander sure can't believe what's happened to him. But, he also can't believe the feelings surging through him. Giles is like a reassurance, in my opinion. Don't even get me started with the 'Shoot me, Stuff me, Mount me' line, 'cause you know it's the name of the site. Of course, the transcript doesn't mention how Giles was watching Xander's ass as he left, now did it?
