Peep

Disclaimer: the boys and candy aren't mine
Note: Thanks to Kate B. Don't expect much my G/X friends, this was written
in like less than five minutes.
Dedication: For Woodinat, the master of Giles and Xander *hears the crack
of the whip* See? There she goes now, training them to serve her better.
"Give me that peep."
"I most certainly will not *dammit*," Giles added the last word for dramatic
purposes.
"Dammit, man! Give me the freakin' peep!"
The librarian shook his head. "Absolutely not, young man."
Xander looked up at his schmoopy who was standing on a hard wooden chair,
his hand holding the precious marshmallowy and sugary goodness high above
his lover's head. "But, but, it's the last one," Xander whined, his bottom
lip sticking out as his chin began to tremble.
"Now look here, Xander," Giles said in a stern voice. "I've already given
you the terms. You know what it is that I want in exchange for your prized
peep."
"But I don't wanna." Xander shook his head.
"Then the peep is mine."
"You're mean. I can't believe I'm dating such a mean guy." Xander reached
in his pocket, and pulled out a something wrapped in a light foil wrapper.
"Fine," he spat out. "I give! Now give me my damn peep!"
Giles stepped down from the chair. He almost felt sorry for the poor boy.
After all, it wasn't his fault he had good taste. And Giles did give him
that first taste. He took the foil from Xander hands and gently replaced
it with the valued marshmallow chick.
Xander huffed but then softened as he saw the twinkle in his lover's eyes.
"Happy now, you big meanie?"
"Don't be upset, luv. These are just my favorite. And when I bought that
case, I didn't think that you would go through them so quickly."
"You can buy those at any drug or grocery store, mean guy."
"Don't call me, Xander. And no I can't. See, this is a REAL English Cadbury
egg, the chocolate is so much better than that so-called egg that you Americans
have. This is the last one until next week. Don't be mad." Xander made a
show of pouting even more. "Oh, come on, luv. I'll buy another package of
those peeps..."
"Okay, deal. More peeps, I'm not mad." Xander smiled at Giles right before
he shoved the peep into his mouth, savoring the sugary flavor.
Giles smiled back, truly enjoying the sight of the boy he loved stuff his
face with yellow goodness. Unwrapping the egg, Giles decided to throw caution
to the wind. He shoved the entire egg into his mouth, thereby impressing the
hell out of his lover.
