I just got this from a guy in Sweden. It's a totally unreleased album by The
Flu! Here's the info, quoted from his letters:

THE FLU=

"The tape "Patsy" is 90 min's long and is recorded between 1984-1988 on a
4-track tape recorder. The music is some kind of punk-version of SP (though I
prefer Skinny).


"What I have is *the master tape*, directly recorded on Mr Key's taperecorder,
so the sound-quality is as good as it gets. The reason why I have this tape is
that it was supposed to be released on a tape-label I used to run at the time
(1989). It never got that far, though, if I remember correctly.


"At the time I was running a local cassette-label called "Osmium". We only 
published a few Swedish bands and by luck we got the offer to publish the Flu.
The label was shut down before we got to release it though.


"I found a the letter from C Key that accompanied the tape. The tape I have is
the only one that was ever to be officially released. It is called "Patsy - a
collection of absolute insanity by the Fly" and is number 5 & 6 in the 
unreleased "In My Head Tape Series". There was at the time a total of 8
editions in this series (none of them officially released)."



Isn't that awesome?? Woo, us collector types live for stuff like this! :) The
tape is great quality, he dubbed it from the master, so my copy is 1st gen.
It's very noisy and experimental, it really doesn't sound that much like SP...
it does remind me of Ogre's live improv style, except the instrument of choice
here is the guitar and lots of vocal FX. All together though, I love it, and 
it's a very neat thing to have found.
