The members of Veruca Salt may never come clean about what really caused their disintegration, but we have it on good authority that they took a page right out of Fleetwood Mac's book. Nina Gordon, who spent a seemingly a contented six years with Fig Dish's dishy singer Blake Smith, took a little leave of her senses -- and of Smith -- when she began sneaking around with Stacy Jones, the drummer Veruca had snagged from Letters To Cleo last year. Smith got wind of the deception, broke up with his lady love, and then set out to seduce Gordon's one-time best friend, the fetching Louise Post. The two of them began making beautiful music behind Gordon's back. When Nina found out, she went into a cold rage, packed up and went to New York, came back with a solo record deal, and then demolished the band...
