Other Stacy Meetings

I was at the Julianna Hatfield show on Saturday night in Boston and after the second band went off stage i was looking around, and who comes down the stairs but STACY JONES (recognized his hair first!), and walks over to whom i recognize as NINA GORDON!!!! and gives her a hug and kiss!! i didn't want to interupt them, so with much egging on from the friends i was with and after a few minutes he goes towards the bar and i walk over to tell him how much he kicks ass as a drummer!

We had a good conversation about how he's going to Maui and how he's been in Boston for a few weeks. then i tell him how much i'm looking foward to Nina's new album and he says "yeah! you should go tell her...she'd love it." so i did!! We talked for a bit about the new stuff going on and how it was so hot in the club and about how the last band that went on nearly put us to sleep. she was totally psyched to see Julianna play (and she jumped up and down a bit later during the show).

She wished me good luck with my singing and band pursuits and that was that!!!! it was so effin awesome!! i was on a high all night, it was so great! "god forgive me, i know it's so awesome...awesome...heaven help me i know, i know, it's a fine place to be..." (veruca salt song if you didn't catch my drift)
