So small and frail, but with a voice of her own
She harmonized the Heavens with her own special tone
She got caught in the wind and soon saw the earth
And decided to visit, for all it was worth
As she flew within reach, the wind became mild
She saw with her eyes the most beautiful child
Enabled with powers and drawn in by the breath
She became one with the child and would again face death
Through wisdom and strength she learns day to day
At night she takes flight and there does she pray
>From there she can see all of the people in pain
A world of grief and turmoil....like a downpour of rain
So soon she seen fit to once again sail and sing
For the Angel within knew the love it would bring
A child no longer, a woman now grown
With the conscience of an Angel, but choices of her own
There are times she does stand by the sea
And thinks to herself "Can the Angels see me?"
With that lone thought consuming her time
She chose to write ballads of the most beautiful rhyme
When she steps on to stage and the house lights go down
Her voice does prevail, it captivates those around
But what about the times she goes into chant?
She's just singing to the Angels who understand what we can't
Her voice sometimes frail, just like the morning dew
But it echoes to the mountains and reaches the Heavens too
And the Angels remember and they do hear
As her melody touches their soul, it draws them near
Every now and then I see a tear in her eye
I just think of the Angels who are so close by
One day she'll be carried away in the wind
To harmonize the Heavens with the Angels once again
