THE SONS OF CHYRECK

The Sons Of Chyreck are a three piece hardcore punk band from the wilds of Forestville NY (about 30 miles from Buffalo). We play real fast songs (30sec-1min), do the dual vocalist high scream/growl thing, but we fall more into the punk rock style than the whole grind, powerviolence deal. We started in March of '99 and have since played a few shows, have released a tape, and have practiced a total of about two times. Lyrically our songs were originally short and about perverted shit with the occasional "fuck war" theme thrown in for good measure, but since then we've kind of graduated to the long, drawn out, political shit that will probably bore you. Our sound is kind of influenced by a few different things; definitely the Misfits, early 80's Sweden, and some other bands like Filth, Infest, and State Of Fear. Also bad metal is apparent in some of our breakdowns, courtesy of Aaron. Bands get ahold of us for shows (likewise we can try to hook you up out here) or any other shit.

EARLY JULY - w/ Playing Stupid and Hitlist. I'm told nothing and dont know where this is yet.

SOMETIME THIS SUMMER - we're suppose to play in fucking Angola, NY.

LATE JULY/EARLY AUGUST - our final show w/ Drunken Orgy Of Destruction, Bleed For Me (tentative) and hopefully some of our other pals. This will most likely be held at the J. Murray VFW Hall in Dunkirk NY. More info on this one soon.

THE END IS NEAR. That's right folks, due to Mike (aka Yoach) moving to Ohio in mid-August we will soon be breaking up, most likely for good. We are playing a few scattered shows here and there including our final one that hopefully some of you will support. Before we call it quits though we do have some more shit coming out that you will pick up whether you want to or not. First on the block is a split tape with Olean crusties NO EXECUTION. Hopefully this will be out by the time August rolls around, but it'll probably be later since we're all retarded. Aside from that we will be appearing on three compilations. The first one entitled " Too Much Tequila " (I think) features many Dunkirk bands like The Clerks, The Pissants and more, as well as a few out of town bands. It has our song " Endorsed Oppression " on it from our first tape. This compilation is all pressed and ready to go I've been told so look for it soon. Second is an insane collection that is suppose to have 4 minutes new material from us. This thing is chock full of Northeastern grind, hardcore and noise bands like Drunken Orgy Of Destruction, Fledling Death, Blatant Crap Taste, and its even been rumored the great Black Army Jacket. This will be out much later, I'm assuming by the end of summer. The last compilation we will be appearing on is from Wreckage Tapes in Singapore. It will contain 2-4 songs of ours (old or new) and will have a small amount of artwork and description dedicated to us as well as all the other bands. Anything international is always good and unifying and all that other mushy bullshit, so word up to RAMLEE from Singapore for hooking us up with this. Also, every show we've played at there have been a handful of pictures taken of us. I've even met a few people at shows who've said " Oh hey I got some pictures of you guys " but once again am retarded so never thought twice about asking about them. Anyway if you took any of these or know of there whereabouts please email us because we'd like to see them and be able to use them because we have absolutely none. If shipping or making doubles or whatever is a problem we'll gladly take care of it. That's about all. Thanks to everybody who's helped us out these last couple years be it a band, person we know, or just somebody who bought a tape, saw us live, or just pretended they knew who we were. It's been fun as hell and we've met lots of cool people and bands doing it. After these two final months of Chyreck brutality Aaron will be touring and recording more with his much, much better band Hitlist (awesome emoish pop-punk, and it's gotta be good since I normally hate that shit), Neal will be getting his new grind band Ottis Toole off the ground, and Mike will be grazing with the other sheep at Wooster College, but we love him anyway and know that his good looks and large package is the real reason anybody checked us out in the first place. That's all, so go away.

The grind band Legacy Of HAN that Wierd Neal sang for already broke up. They managed to cut out a bassless, 5 song, garbage can recording though (complete with samples and all) that may someday somehow see the light of day if anybody is interested in that as well.

Yoach promises to fuck anybody body who sets up a show with us. He's a big boy, quite attractive too...

Chyreck was a science teacher at Forestville Central about two years ago. Seemingly normal he secretly engaged in a series of sexual relations, inluding accusations of " forced sodomy ", with a 15 year old student of his.
