Title: DaBull
Composer:
Keith Spillman
About this piece: The basic tune of "DaBull" has ran through my head for a long time, but I never could figure out where it wanted to go. It finally decided it wanted to be a spaghetti western kind of tune and off we went into the sunset. I tried to make this tune sound big, airy, and Spanish. I'll let you decide if I succeeded!!!!
Several of the parts of this piece were
recorded with my guitar through a Roland GI-10 guitar/midi interface. These
include the intro/ending acoustic guitar and several of the brass parts.
I used a Roland FP-8 digital piano to input the rest of the tune, along
with an Alesis SR-16 drum machine, and CakeWalk 6.0 software.
