Okay everyone, face it... BRIAN HAS A GIRLFRIEND! It is probably Lee Ann, as said in a magazine (The new US mag with Jennifer Aniston on the cover) his girlfriend lives on the West Coast (Los Angeles) and he is going out with an actress. I think it is Lee Ann. Also him and AJ said on Regis and Kathie Lee that they were both seeing someone. I recommend you get the new US magazine if you want the dish on them and their girlfriends, because it says Nick has a gf, and it tells all about AJ's girlfriend, even her name and where she lives. Backstreet Boys will be performing at the World Music Awards on May 5th, held in Monaco. I heard that the awards will be broadcasted on May 20, 1999 on ABC in the US and Canada. (Thanks Erin)

I've got some details about the third BSB album... On the video A Night Out With The Backstreet Boys, there was 3 samples from new BSB songs. Those of you who are on my mailing list know about it a bit. Anyways... So there are 3 samples. The first one is I'll Be The One. It's an up-tempo song. It sounds a bit like the Solid HarmoniE song (I'll Be There For You) the first time you listen to it but after a few times you don't see (hear) the difference anymore. It's a really good song.
The second song: Show Me The Meaning. Oh my God. It gave me goosebumps. It's really, really a fantastic song. And guess what? Kevin finally sings on it. It's time time that they let him sing something. I read somewhere that a person though it sounded like Tina Turner's Goldeneye, but I didn't think so. It's a very emotinal song and it's almost sad. It's my favorite out of the three samples. Keep on reading and you'll understand why it's not the last one.
The last one is I Need You Tonight, a.k.a. Heaven In Your Eyes. I don't know when they changed the title because in the Hit List interviews taped around the end of September, Howie and AJ still refer to the song as Heaven. I think it's really, really STUPID to have change the name. But what I think is the most idiot idea is to change the lyrics!!! Now, Nick doesn't say It doesn't matter if it's wrong or right, cause I see heaven in your eyes anymore, he says It doesn't matter if it's wrong or right, I really need you tonight. Ok, this is just my opinion, but I think it now falls to the ranks of Lay Down Beside Me, Boys Will Be Boys et If You Want it To Be Good Girl, if you can find the oh-so-subtle link between these three... Anyways, I don't know whose idea it was to change the lyrics but, bravo! Just by changing a part of a sentence, they change the whole feeling of the song and take away its beauty. Beside, on the CD version, the piano is different from the live version and less melodic. In short, a incredibly phenomenal song that had to potential to become an great hit has become a good, but yet ordinary song.
The songs will be available on the CD from A Night Out With The Backstreet Boys. The A Night Out With The Backstreet Boys 'kit' will be released in Canada and in the states on November 10. Bad news for Americans though: the CD will not be included. You'll only get the video.
AJ suggested the name Millenium for the album, but it's not sure that they'll call it that way. Also, they have finally chose a producer for their album. It'll be Gary Baker. If the name sounds familiar, it's because he's the one who wrote Anywhere For You.
The BSB keyboard player has created a BSB Website. It's a must-see. Tommy Smith will probably be able to get tons of great multimedia (photo/audio/video). Plus tons of scoops. The url is: http://home.earthlink.net/~bsbkeys/Band_Index.html.
News from the Carter family... Aaron's new album will be released in the end of November (but if he's anything like his brother's band it'll get postponed a couple of times...) Also, the rumour about Nick's mom's book isn't a rumours anymore. Jane Carter will publish a book about her son. It'll include details on Nick's life as well as 33 pages of pics straight from their family album.
Other quick news... Kevin wrote a song in collaboration with Jerry Baker: Back To Your Heart. The BSB shot a commercial for the milk (the infamous Got Milk? ones). The single All I Have To Give is released on November 16 in the USA and the CD single will be available on January 8.

First of all, the video A Night Out With the Backstreet Boys, was released in Europe last week, and I think it was released in Asia also. And GOOD NEWS! What? No Heaven In Your Eyes? No, no, no, please don't cry. Heaven IS on the video, but it is called I Need You Tonight. Personnally, I like the title Heaven In Your Eyes a LOT better than I Need You Tonight and since I'm pretty stubborn I'm going to keep calling the song Heaven In Your Eyes for a while. It has been confirmed that the song will be on the next BSB album (finally!). Oh, and for those of you who thought Nick had written the song, no, he didn't. The song was written by Andrew Fromm. But Brian's solo on the video, Where Can We Go From Here was written by B-rok himself.
It is probably the last time that we hear about BSB's legal problems with their management team. They finally solved it. Results? No more managers. Bye bye, Wrights. They don't work for the Backstreet Boys anymore. The Boys claim that Donna and Jonnhy's departure was amicable. The Boys manage themselves alone now. As for Lou Pearlman, I don't know if he had to pay anything to the Boys, but he keeps 1/6 of the parts of Backstreet Inc. He says that he always was the sixth BSB and will always be. On October 7,
it was the Official Backstreet Boys Day in Orlando. The Boys received the key of the city as a reward for raising $250,000 at their benefit concert (when tornadoes hit Florida). The Backstreet Boys are nominated twice at the MTV EUROPEAN MUSIC AWARDS. In order for them to win, we must vote! To vote, you can go here: http://www.mtv-vote.com/start.htm, and be sure that your vote has been registered! In the past two years, the Boys have won the public's choice awards. They have the possibility to win once again this year, but we have to vote for them. All you have to do is send a email to selectvideos@mtvne.com and say that you want the Backstreet Boys to win the Select Awards with the video All I Have To Give.
All I Have To Give should be the next single in the USA and it should be released at the end of December or the beginning of January. Right now the song I'll Never Break Your Heart is #1 in the adult contemporary chart. Also, the Boys want to released a video for the international market in the same time as the one in the US. They don't know which song it'll be, but I'm sure it'll be a song from the new album.
The Carter brothers have finally decided what their duet will be. It'll be the song Loverboy, a cover of a song by Billy Ocean. I've been told that the song will be on Aaron's next album but will not be released as a single due to legal stuff, but I'm not sure. Speaking of the Carter family, I've heard that Jane Carter wants to do a book about her son Nick. The book would be released in mid-november and would be called The Heart and Soul of Nick Carter: Secrets Only a Mother Knows.
So, I'm going to finish off with the rumours about their girlfriends. I'm sorry, I made a mistake last time. AJ's girlfriend IS Amanda from the group Innosense but she's not the blond one. The blond one is Mandy and she's rumoured to be Nick's girlfriend. AJ's girlfriend is the one with dark curly hair. As for Nick's girlfriend, it could be Mandy, but the "Sarah Ward" rumours are coming back. Apparently Nick admitted in a press conference recently that they've been friend for a long time and that now they're dating. Sarah would be the "cousin" that Nick bought a puppy with (see October 2 news). I've also been told that he's dating Britney Spears (she has a song on the All Access CD).
