Black Death

Black Death
Creeps up on me
Eating my soul
And turning my
Heart black with
Hate, slowly
Slowly it overpowers me
I cannot fight it
I am becoming
One with it and
In turn I am
Eating other
Souls and turning other
Hearts black with hate
I am now the
Black Death
And only destruction
Lies in my path

The Ancient One

I have lived a thousand years
I have no friends, I have no fears
A powerful wizard I've grown to be
A gruesome sight I am to see
Feared by all, I live alone
My ancient voice is but a moan
Immortal, I shall forever live
My soul for power I did give
Day by day my power grows
And day by day my body slows
A pile of dust I'll be one day
But no one can take my power away

Dance of the Insane

Fluctuating between madness and sanity
I bang my head against a stone wall
Trying to jolt my mind into working again
As the blood flows into my eyes
I can see clearly that reality is gone
The images etched into my mind
Cause me to retreat into the darkness
I sit in a corner and sway to the rhythm of insanity
My thoughts run rampant
They pass through my brain so quickly
That I cannot grasp even one
Visions of despair flash before me
Like the flickering light of a dying candle
The vortex in my subconscious threatens
To swallow my soul
It swirls faster and faster
Pulling my sanity farther into emptiness
The swaying becomes an erratic dance of madness
I give in to the insanity and numbly watch
As my consciousness slowly fades away

The Worthless One

Putrid darkness
Foul despair
Maniacal laughter
Fills the air
Oppressing madness
Grim depression
Pain and anger
Are life's lesson
Bitter reality
Shattered dreams
Hatred's smile
Brightly gleams
Meaningless existence
Worthless one
Despised by all
Loved by none

There Is No Such Thing As True Love

There is no such thing as true love
Because love cannot be true
In love there's always something false
In everything you say or do
There is no such thing as happiness
Because it is love that makes you sad
And sorrow killed the dream of love
That I have always had
There is no such thing as caring
In a world where love's not true
And everyone knows that when you love
You only end up a fool

Silent Murder

I call your name
You do not hear
And you don't know
That I am near
I raise the knife
You do not know
Until you feel
The fatal blow
You gasp for air
Your body falls
Your blood is splattered
On the walls
I pull it out
I stab again
Without a sound
The knife goes in
I smile at you
Your eyes grow wide
You crawl away
And try to hide
I follow close
The blade held high
I stab again
Your death is nigh
No sound you make
I stab once more
From your wounds
Blood freely pours
The final blow
I hit your heart
Withdraw the knife
And then depart
No sound was made
All through your death
Silence until
Your final breath

A Visit In The Night

From the darkness they arise
They look at me with glowing eyes
The moon-light shimmers on their skin
And I can feel the hate within
From the darkness they emerge
Their hearts all beat a deadly dirge
I sense their hunger, sense their pain
I see their tears flow out like rain
From the darkness they appear
And they smell my mortal fear
Their glorious bat-like wings unfold
And the room is filled with deathly cold
From the darkness they are born
Their hearts are filled with hate and scorn
Their souls are blackened pits of hate
And for my blood they await
From the darkness they materialize
No one hears my feeble cries
They silently whisper out my name
And I know I'll never be the same
