Pata is the other member of X. He is really talented as is
evident through his two solo albums. His talent can also be seen
in his solos, as he and Hide often switch off as lead soloist,
and even perform many dual solos. So the role of lead guitarist
is not as clear cut as in some bands. Pata very much enjoys Jack
Daniels and on his birthday and other holidays, fans have been
known to send him bottles. He gives the silent, reserved image,
and provides some stability on stage as compared to the energy of
the other members.
