The Band

This picture is of Dicky Barret, lead singer of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Dicky is by far the best song writer in the world right now, just read the lyrics to "1-2-8" on "Let's Face It". Along with being the best song writer he is the best dressed musician on the planet. Dicky also has the coolest voice of any lead singer. Along with being able to sing mellow like in "Royal Oil" he can scream as loud as possible and still sound as cool as Kurt Cobain and Jonathan Davis ever did.

"God it's been fun" - Dicky Barret

This is Nate Albert, the fast and furious guitarist for The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. He is the best ska guitarist to ever walk the face of the earth, and by the picture you can tell, like Dicky, he has a pretty wicked taste in clothes. Not only is he an amazing ska guitarist but he can play punk as hard as anyone, just listen to the beginning of "1-2-8". Nate also the coolest hair of any musician around, exept maybe for the drummer of No Doubt.

This here is Ben Carr, the dancer or "Bosstone" of the band. This guy is probably the best dancer I've ever seen in my life. The idea of having a dancer provides even more originality to the bands already original sound and performance style. He may not play any instrument but he sure as hell keeps the crowd rockin' throughout the whole entire show.

This is Joe Sirois, drummer for The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. He is the backbone of the band, keeping all the other seven on time. He does not show off all of his talent on many of the songs, but he sure knows what to put in each song to make it sound cool. The drum beat in "Noise Brigade" is a perfect example of a cool drum beat, the drum's at the beginning and then the bell cymbol on the chorus makes the whole entire song.

I think a lot of bassists would agree that Joe Gittleman is one of the best bassists in the world. He is an amazing bass line writer, making them a lot fuller than if he was just playing along to the guitar. The bass line for "Rascal King" is one of the best bass lines I have ever heard in my life. I my opinion Joe is up there with other bassists such as Flea and Les Claypool.

Dennis Brockenborough, Kevin Lenear, and Tim Burton make up the horn section of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. These three guys prove that horns are no pussy instruments used only in orchestras. Not only do these guys rock the brass, but they provide most of the back up volcals for the band. With Kevin and Tim on sax and Dennis on trombone The Bosstones are simply the best ska band in music history.
