* JAMES AND KIRK'S TOP SECRET ROAD GEAR... in a word: cigars! Jame and Kirk are rarely seen without their stogies these days, and they're deep into cigar smoking and cigar culture, reading magazines like SMOKE and Cigar Aficionado. They've said that the best thing about having their own private plane on tour was being able to smoke cigars, even during landing and take-off. Kirk likes Cubans - Bolivars, Romeo y Julietas, Partagas, and others. A Cohiba is his usual pre-show smoke. James prefers Dominicans, which he finds smoother than Cubans, but he does smoke Cubans occasionally ("Kirk's more into the strong stuff," jests James. 'Makes him feel more manly.") His favorite cigars are Arturo Fuente Black Labels which are very hard to find and very expensive, preferably in Short Stories or Robusto sizes. "But I smoke the cannones occasionally too- y'know the big Churchill-style ones," Jame snotes proudly.
Finally, Jame and Kirk also tour with their humidors, which is an essential part of their road gear. But they haven't hired a cigar-roadie.... at least, not yet.
