Welcome to my Beanie Baby Collection!!

Hey! You've just entered the land of Beanie Babies!! =) For those of you who know me, you may be asking why I have a Beanie Baby page. Well, my mom gave me a Beanie baby about two or three years ago for Christmas. However, I didn't know that it was a Beanie baby until here recently. You may be asking: "How did you NOT know that it was a Beanie Baby??" Well, I'm a dumb blonde (ask anyone that I know, and they'll tell you.. *L*) so I took it out of the package and put it on my shelf with the rest of my stuffed animal collection. One day I noticed that the tag on it said "Ty: Beanie Original Baby", and so I went to the Ty homepage and found out that the Beanie Baby that I had sitting on my shelf was a retired (meaning really expensive) Beanie Baby.

Oh, and then I remembered that I had this bag of stuffed animals in my closet that my Nana had given me for my birthday last year. Well, I opened it up, and sure enough, there was a whole bag of Beanie Babies!! =) Remember the ones that were really, really hard to get at McDonald's? My Nana had gone to McDonald's every time that they had a new Beanie Baby in stock and bought them for me!! (I was in India at the time, and remember reading a few articles in the USA Today about the Beanie Baby craze that was going on at home, never realizing that my Nana was involved! *L*)

Anyway, this page is to just sort of brag about how many Beanie Babies that I have! =) Not that some of you care, but I'm bored right now and need something to occupy my time with. So, here are my Beanie Babies:

"Chocolate, the moose" "Chops, the lamb"

"Congo, the gorilla" "Goldie, the goldfish"

"Inch, the worm" "Lizzy, the lizard"

"Pinky, the flamingo" "Puffer, the penguin"

"Quackers, the duck" "Seamore, the otter"

"Speedy, the turtle"

Most of the above are retired Beanie's, with the exception of Congo and Puffer, I think! =) Now, the next two Beanie's that you're going to see are:

"Libearty" and "Maple"

I actually own "Libearty", and am dying to be able to have "Maple" in my collection. I found out from a few of my friends, Jason and Lee (two guys, can you imagine? *L*) that "Libearty" is actually worth a couple of grand. Who knew? =)

Ok, now there's one more Beanie that I want to show off, and here she is!! =)

Her name is "Erin"

And, unfortunately, I don't actually own her either. =( Mainly because she's rare and very expensive. But, I'm hoping to be able to find her, and get her fairly cheap! =)

Ok, now that I've subjected you to that, you can go back home!! Or, you can go visit the home of the Beanie Babies!!

*Homeowner's note: Thanks to Ty for the pics of the babies, background, and other graphics!!
