How many do we really need?

There are over 1000 Nirvana sites on the internet now, and it seems to
me that most of the really suck. I remember when there were only about 500
sites and at the time almost everything was original was at the time, now with
over 1000 you see sites with the same names and content. The way I see it
these sites have no purpose.

When you think of a nirvana site you think of basics like pictures, links
and lyrics the sites you now see mostly have only these and rip off graphics
(graphics made by another page used by another without credit given) with 1
or two pictures from good old Smiley's nirvana picture gallery. There really
is no need for pages like this, now I'M not trying to put anyone page down but
in general the NEW pages are basically all the same as all others. I would say
that only 150 of the 1000 of the sites really only are needed.

There are many good pages out there but these new ones are killing
them, by this I mean they steal all the content from other pages and say it is
theirs. I for one am sick of it. I think the people who make these pages
should look at there page and ask them self one question... What makes
this page special?

Furthermore; I am sick of seeing links to places with the title
"The Best Nirvana page on the net." You click on the link to it and
see the title "Nirvana" when you see this you can already tell the
creativity of the webmaster, then after it loads you see the dozens
of "X'ed" pictures and you click on the dozens of defunct links it's
just not as fun surfing the web as it was in before...

I would like to say, I am not putting down any one page but
in general most pages are not original this doesn't mean the suck
just that they need work.
