This is a big update. First, if you do not have Netscape, then you must go to non-java version. The reason is because of the text box to the left. (Thank God I have IE and Netscape).
This page has cleaned itself up, tremendously. The newest additions to this page is the: Suicide note; the tabs; an interesting section called Disco; a section for designs; fun games; fonts and downloads.
The suicide note is there, although the picture of it is broken. You may also find it hard to read it, so you will have to read it out loud to your grandma if you have to. Change the green-lime text color at least. It could be a lot more organized, at least as much as the front page...every page is important.
The tabs are pretty good. The CD covers are scanned right on there (literally) which isn't too bad because you will know what to expect when you purchase it at the store. It might help a little bit if it was straightened out more. This section is interesting because under the song it has the tabs, making this section short. Two problems: one, I had to highlight the tabs to see them and, two: In Utero and Unplugged From N.Y. was not avaliable. In addition, there were no Wishkah. All the tabs for the bass were there, this time missing Unplugged and Wishkah. The main thing is the color changes, again, I had to highlight them. I would recommend the In Utero colors.
The Interviews section could not be found. In just a few words, you might want to get the pictures section fixed. The Death certificate was found to be a(nother) broken picture. The Bleach lyrics are green in text, infact, all of them are except the Unplugged lyrics, which I had to highlight. They are not in the usual form of lyrics, which I hope will get changed. But again, at least they are there.
The Reviews section is something new that is hitting some pages (I wonder how that started :) .. ). Anyway, I'm not going to kill this page for the reviews. It has a purpose elsewhere. But it is great, because many pages do not offer this, in addition, at least they tried.
There is a broken picture in the Tom Grant section. There is another Interviews section, which is not any different than the first. You can find out when this page is updated, just by typing your e-mail address, your name, and possibly some comments. Pretty interesting and original.
Also they have the liner notes for: Nevermind, Hormoaning, and Incesticide. They are very organized and easy-to-read. :) A good idea, if possible, would have the liner notes themselves scanned. If you need help with the design of your webpage, a banner, animations, or even a webpage itself, look no further. This is a tremendous help to many people who have know idea what the hell HTML is.
The games section is going to keep you occupied for a while. In the downloads section, you can download some of the Nirvana fonts.
Conclusion, Pt. II
This page is great, I will say first of all. However, it could clean itself up some more. It's done a great job with the front page, and I hope it will clean up the grammar and organization. I hope it fixes the pictures because I missed a whole section due to it. Now, if it does that, it might be worthy of an award. :)
From a first glance, I can tell that this pages do not live up to it's name. The "dumb" part that is. It really is not like any ordinary page, with the "basics." It does include tabs, however. Let's get on to the review, shall we?
The Page Offers:
Kurt's I.D.
Guitar/Bass Tabs
Lyrics
Letter from Tom Grant
Awards
Pictures
Kurt's I.D. (again?)
Webrings
E-mail for banners (made by him)
When you get on this page, you'll notice a picture that has Kurt and Frances. Then you will hear the wav.file of "Dumb." To the left there really isn't a frame, but I would call it a "frame bar." Kurt's I.D. is just basically giving out simple, straight-foward information about Kurt. If you a new fan of the group and want to learn more about a member, I guess Kurt's I.D. will help you out.
Lyrics run through Bleach-Unplugged. The unique thing about it is
