Pennyroyal Tea: A Nirvana Page

Out of a request I did this review. Mind you, this is NOT the 'Pennyroyal Tea Room.' However, this page is quite organized and neat in artwork. In addition, it took a while for it to download on my computer. Which isn't too much of a bother now. The first thing you will notice is the "Pennyroyal Tea" single. After that the page is pretty much divided into two colums, they contain:

Lyrics
8 fragments for Kurt Cobain
Meaning of songs
In Utero symbol meanings
Guitar Tabs
Real Audio clips
Kurt equipment FAQ
Nirvana Movies
Bass Tabs
My Chat Room
Drum Tabs
Message Board
Dave Grohl drummer Jokes
Links
Nirvana FAQ
Sign my guestbook!
Concert Chronology

I guess one of the good thing about the lyrics is that, although it does the classic "click on the Album" scenario, they are not very big and does not take too much time to download. In addition, you can expect complete lyrics. It is easy to get around because you can just click on the song or you can get back to the top easier.

And don't we all know the "Meaning of Most Nirvana Songs" by now? If you don't, go see, but as Kurt said that everyone should have their own meaning to songs, that is why he never really went through to talk about the songs, but it can be obvious on some occassions. Knowing that, we should all know the Kurt Equipment FAQ as well. The bass tabs section is rather good, all songs in alphabetical order. Let's not forget about Dave's Drummer Jokes. I assumed that the Drum Tabs section would lead to the Nirvana Drum Tabs, and I was correct. However, I don't think anyone could take away credit from this page.

I am not sure and I don't understand the 8 Fragments of Kurt. If you don't know those weird looking symbols on the back of In Utero, this page has In Utero Sign Meanings. This page also offers RA Files, all 30-second in length. Moving back to tabs, this page also has Guitar Tabs, pretty much complete. It also has the Concert Chronology, which dates back from the earliest [known] shows to the last. It also plays the Pennyroyal Tea.

Note: It is recommended you view this page using frames.

Overall

I think this is a good page. Full of content and essential material. You might wonder if there is anything wrong with this page. All I can find that is wrong with this page is the downloading time. It is probably because I have a 28.8 modem still, but you shouldn't let graphics get in the way of the page. Nonetheless, I think it's a great page.
