Scoff

Under the title, there is a line reading, 'What's this? Another Nirvana Page?' That's what it is. Another Nirvana page. Let's see if it has some qualities that make it unique.

In addition to the "rough-cut" graphics..you'll see a box, with a blue out-line to it. This has a picture of Kurt playing a guitar on the In Utero tour (hince the angel doll). Nonetheless, it is a lot better than having to scroll down to get what you want, and frames. I do not mind frames, but it has to be well presented in order for me to go with the frames.

You can tell right away that the Discography was copied out of a page. I don't know which one. Nonetheless, he did provide a nice (black) background with white text. Sometimes it isn't good to include the "basics" for the page anyway. A lot of pages need more originality.

If there is one thing about every page that could be original, it would be the Links. This page doesn't offer many links at all. Actually, I reviewed every link probably except for one. Don't bother clicking on the Lyrics--it's a broken link. In addition to that, there is a broken link for the Pictures.

There is nothing Miscellaneous about the Misc. section! It only has the Nirvana FAQ. I would suggest that they would put that on the the front page instead of making a Misc. link about it. The Tabs section is kind of neat--for some part. It only goes from 'A-H.' For a moment, it had something going. It had (the available) songs, in order, in a table. If only he could complete it. And there is the Songlist, with most of the Nirvana songs.

Final Thought

I must give credit for all the people out there with a webpage. At least they try to present one. It seems to me they don't take much pride in their work. They just build a "simple" (and I don't mean that in a good way) page. They just leave it there to die--literally. If you plan on building a page, but you don't think you'll get to it a lot, then don't build one at all. Save your server some money. In addition there are about 35 million internet surfers out there, and there are probably a billion sites out there, and half of them shouldn't be up. I am not saying this page is bad at all. There's no such thing as a bad page. Just a page with poor originality, quality, etc.

When I first built this page, I only had the Album Reviews and some links. I got the idea to review Nirvana sites. You should try to come up with a way to inform the people, as well as entertain them, easy access.
