Nirvana homepage Annar Merirand

This is probably one of those old Nirvana pages that many people have forgotten. However the webmaster must have forgotten this page. The thing I like about this page is that, although it has probably one of the best banners I've ever seen, is clean, and original (to that time).

The interviews and articles section is just like any other interviews and articles sections you will find today. At least he says he found these around the net in addition to some magazines.

Another original aspect of this page is the lyrics, ironically enough. It shows a wonderful scanned version of the album, and it gives a brief history of it. By the way, the lyrics are so-easy-to-read. The lyrics are also in the center. This also goes for Hormoaning and B-Sides and Rarities.

I must mention on how easy it is to get back. Thanks to the wonderful "Back To Index" and "Mail To Me" bar. Very neat.

Not a great selection of audio files, which you will find most of them are in wav. format. He gives a special thanks to Smiley's page for most of them. Although Smiley's page isn't the #1 anymore, I do remember when it was...

The bass tabs are the most complete tabs I have ever seen. And just like almost every selection on this page, it is in the center. The pictures are organized very neatly and almost perfected: album covers; Kurt, Chris, and Dave; and magazine covers...some things which most people have forgotten nowadays.

The links are probably a bit outdated. It doesn't offer that much deal of a variety anyway.

Conclusion

It's just a shame that a good page like this has been forgotten. Enough said. If you plan on building a Nirvana page, build it something like this. This is exactly the page I am looking for, but it is outdated. So if you build a page, keep the content originalized.
