Three Cleancut Guys From Seattle Reviewed completed on September 21, 1998 - 8:51 PM I am very fortunate to have found this page. But I'm not going to get all high-and-mighty just yet. Where did the page name come from? If you recall the "In Bloom" video (which one an award for Best Alternative Video in the 1994 MTV Music Awards), the announcer/host introduced Nirvana. Without further audo, here's the review (nice ring to it). [Note: The Information section was not included due to lack of content in that area.] Graphics | The Page Itself | Conclusion When you enter any page, one of the first things you notice upon entering is the graphics. The page attempts to do well with the graphics, which is modestly pleasant. There are some things, however, that need to be discussed. If you take a look at the screenshot, you'll see how the text is left aligned and then the picture consumes a decent amount of space. I would think it would look more pleasing to the eye if it was around the box, not just to the right of it. What is the text about? The page's news and updates. The frames are not that bad, the hot spot links (or graphical links, for that batter, in the case of an image [map].) Skipping right down to multimedia, the thing that this page really offers. The first section, the audio/video, is not that bad. To analyze things out, here is a complete list of the section:
[Note: Lengths are unavailable] Now that we have got that out of the way, we can focus on other things of the page now. The picture gallery is good in two ways: it has 60 pictures and they are in thumbnail form. A downside to it (if your picky) is that they are all on the same page. The download time on a 28.8 modem is about 45 seconds. Some of these pictures you have already seen, and some may be a little new to you. There is one interesting picture, or I should say article. It is about a trip Nirvana had to Berlin, Germany, on their Bleach tour (picture #33.) Take a look at the links area. Not a whole lot there, but a good place to go to if your in the mood for some un-related Nirvana links, or the most there of. And finally, there is a Breed Webring link which will take you to another page that is listed on the ring. A tiny page with a lot to offer, I sure hope it makes something out of it's potential. If he [the webmaster] has already put enough effort into making the page the way it is, at that size, I know it can do a hell of a lot better. I sure hope to see this page grow and progress over time. The audio/video and pictures sections were not that bad, however I hope that it will add some more of that and content as well. |
