Click on Banner to Go to Downer

Update: When I checked back to Downer, I found that the Tribute section was updated. Now it has a very nice picture of Kurt playing his guitar - and now its even more organized! Good job Tyler. :)

Downer is probably one of the most recognized Nirvana sites on the net. And I can certainly see why. It's got a ALOT of things on there..

It Offers

How Does It Do?

Very well, very well. The page is very organized an accessible.

The multimedia section is divided up into three simple categories: pictures, sounds, and downloadable things that you might like. :)

The pictures are clearly amazing! This page has a ton of them, and even some rare and exclusive ones I have not seen. The sounds section is also amazing! I could not believe my eyes with all the rare songs they had on it. The downloadable section contains pictures you can download, for example, the guitar tabs on the page so you can print them out. :)

The games section is very cool. I found myself playing these wonderful games that you will also like. It includes: a puzzle, quiz and a Nirvana libs.

The guitar tabs section is not complete. However, it does offer some songs and it is very helpful and also very organized.

The information section contains some articles, scans of notes, and quotes. And much more. It is also very organized and there are a lot of things to find there.

The tribute section, of course, revolves around Kurt. It shows some of his drawings, and some information about the band's influences, and a couple of interviews about the people that Kurt influenced.

The voting section asks questions like, "what is your favorite album?" and so on.

The forum section is sort of like Heart Shaped mailbox, or Smiley's forum. However, I found that there were not a lot of topics available there.

The chat room is well, a chat room. :) And the links are amazing, too. It has plenty of links to look for and I believe they will help too.

Overall

Although I found it helpful, the page was clean, and it was original also. The page is simply amazing.
