When you first go to a site, you expect the main page to load rather quickly. Sometimes they don't. The speed of a site can be an important factor when you visit a site as to whether you look around or not. This site took its time loading up. After 95 seconds, the page was finally loaded.
Graphics
Many. That is all that I need to say. The left frame contains the links to the site's content. They are blurred images, and somewhat hard to read. The right frame contains the site logo, followed by a short description of the site. Then comes a picture of Kurt, above a quote taken from the suicide note. Site news is next. A picture of the band comes after the news, with a welcome to the site. Is this welcome necessary with the site description that was above? Maybe not. Then comes the guestbook, then 3 webrings. This site has a blue background, with black text. The only complaint about the graphics is there are too many, and they are too large.
Information
First comes the info. It is just a story type thing describing what Nirvana has done, from the time they were formed until the time they ended. It is a fairly good read. The links section contains links to many music-related web sites. There is a good listing of Nirvana sites that are worth checking out. Next is a survey. This just asks for some information about yourself, and your opinions of Nirvana.
Multimedia
I was somewhat impressed by the images section. Although there are only 42 pictures, there were several which I have never seen. They are text links, although thumbnails would look just fine if used. The downloads section contains 5 midis, tabs to the first five(5) official albums (which I guess should be listed in the information section), videos of an unspecified format, and various other things.
Conclusion
A good page to visit if you are bored. If you want a page with lots of Nirvana material, this is not your page. It can be a good page, and I hope that it grows. The images section is not bad, and the webmaster updates on a regular basis, so hopefully this site will continue to improve.
