A page that I have keept my eye on this page for a while now. ;) Well, this page has done a complete make-over. From the dark, gloomy, hard-to-read page, it has lightened up a bit. One of the first things you will notice is the frame bar and the white main page. Both takes up a considerable amount of room. I would suggest a trimming on that. It has a 'News' section, which will keep you up with site-related news.
The first section is called the 'Secret' page. What's in there? I don't know, but it looks promising. :) As for Multimedia, the first section you will find is the 'Pictures.' You will find 32 high-quality scanned pictures. Also note that the pictures do not take a lot of time to download on the page. You click on the number for the one you want to see. As for the Animations, you will find five of them. It says to give a minute or two to download, and none of them are broken by the way. They all seem to be working just fine.
Lyrics are found in the Multimedia section. There is no specific album or song listing. You just have to scroll down, they are in album order. The only album you will not see is Wishkah. It is good to see the lyrics however it would be much more better and less time consuming if they were divided up more. Another section is called the 'Kurt Cobain timeline.' Normally people have called this the Nirvana timeline for some time, however this is the Kurt Cobain timeline, and it does a fine job at that.
As for the MP3 files, you will find a great variety of songs, mostly rare ones. They are listed, also most of them are from the Internet Nirvana Fan Club. You will also find the 'Suicide note,' on this page. In scanned form and in text-form as well. The next section is called 'Stories.' The stories are: the Polly story, a song about a girl who is raped but escaps. Following that is the Franics Farmer story; Dave Grohl drummer jokes and finally Opinions, a section in which Kurt states what he thinks the song is about or his opinion on the particular song that is listed.
Bootlegs have been a popular accessory to most Nirvana fans for quite some time. Here at the 'Bootlegs' section, you will find a rather good amount of bootlegs to buy, or trade. In addition, you can also buy or trade a video, or even backstage passes. I found a broken picture in the bootleg section. The 'Others' section, or another name for Micellaneous, gives website reviews. Not only that, but you can also see the awards this page has won. Speaking of awards, you also have the opportunity to win his award. Also available in the 'others' section is the java chat room. There is also a message board on this page where you can post your own opinion on a certain topic.
Conclusion
It keeps on improving. The page has built tremendously on the content. The graphics have improved but it does seem a little too large for my screen. The best sections I would think of would be the multimedia and the stories. However I am not sure what is in the Secret page. :) If you want to trade a few bootlegs then you will have no problem with this page.
