Nirvana In Nirvana has had its share of short reviews. Sometimes it was just because the page didn't have much have to offer, other times it was just that I didn't feel like typing. The question I'm going to ask you in this review, does lack of content, or, what is considered the "standard," make it a bad page?

There are, however, many things that can save such a doomsday scenario. For instance, graphics. I have mentioned time and time again that graphics are not that important. Hence not that important. They are important, but when it comes to content, or, whatever the page is about, graphics should be one of the last considerations.

One of the most surprising things about the page is the length. You do not even have to scroll down except for the middle section. The middle section will provide you with all the areas. There are two image maps, one on the left, and on the right. Both are the same thing. Now, I don't know why it had that, but, if it is to add some space to the page, that's OK. However it isn't really necessary. The only major fault, if any, was the little override of the black on the right side.

The first area is pictures. The neat thing about the pictures is not only the thumbnails. But how it is divided, into eras. The Bleach era, Nevermind era and so fourth. Out of the two I listed, In Utero is the only last era. All the sections, or eras for that matter, are divided up into two row by 7 columns. Providing 21 pictures each, some are rare and some are not. But for the most part these are great quality pictures.

Next: documents, aka interviews and articles, 10 of them. Other sections include one about Recording information, and the last one is links. The interesting thing about the sounds section is not only the amount of rare and known ones, but they contain some other things as well, such as a phone conversation. [Note: all of the files are in MP3 format, click here to download WinAmp.]

As for the bootlegs section, you can view a whole list of bootlegs. It's a great list, if you are interested in trading, information regarding that will be on the page.

Conclusion

As I have said before, the graphics on the page are not bad. The couldn't find a "Home" button on the image boxes. A page that looks like a box, a black border then it fades inwards, you think but wonder how good this page did with graphics. The simplicity, yet how complicated it really is -- a nice touch indeed. This is, for the most part, a multimedia page. However the Documents area really boosted my expectations. The pictures added more points for the multimedia, however, it's a good page. It keeps the original things. None of the FAQs that are run around from page to page.
