Total Nirvana

A month or so ago I was having problems with my 'Contents' section. For those of you who remember, it was blank. I went to Geocities to help and I fortunetly asked a guy named Ryan what was the problem. He helped me out and the Contents became visible once more. Now, a month or so later, he has asked me to review his Nirvana page. Hence that was the reason I asked him.

If your a big fan of Downer's format, then you will find a home at this page. The page is set up like a column and the frame bar on the side will stick with you where ever you go, the colour of the bar is blue. In addition, the background of the main page contains Smiley faces, and the content on the main page contains information about the site, places to go on the site, link exchange banners, among others.

A section specifically for Multimedia. With pictures and MIDI files. The pictures are divided up into Concerts, Photos and Micellaneous. A good variety with decent scans. If you love MIDI files you will love this page. It has all the albums's songs MIDI (dismiss Hormoaning and Wishkah), along with some rarities.

Music and Album Information section:

As for the 'Tribute to Nirvana' section, I found the Quotes very informative and actually fun to look at. You will also find a poem, 'Richard Cory.' I agree it does sound a lot like Kurt however it is totally a coincidince because the poem itself is over a hundred years old. I think I remember reading that in school once. ;) You will also find a section called, 'Remembering Kurt.' Where musicans talk about Kurt and their memories about him.

In the Nirvana in the News section, it contains Articles and Interviews, having a decent amount. Another effective and informative section is the 'Recent News' section, which has kept up with Nirvana (related) news for quite some time. If you like this page so much that you want to link to it, you may have the pleasure in finding the 'Link to me' section. There it has the banner and the HTML for it, three in all.

Finally in the 'Micellaneous,' you will find some sections that are repeated. The sections that are not repeated are the 'About this site,' and 'Awards I've won.' The other two are found in the frame. You will find a decent amount of links in the 'Links' section. It gives a little description of the site as well.

Conclusion

A very good site with, again, a lot of potential. I hope it keeps being creative and adds more content to it. I like the Quotes, and especially the Tribute section in general. The pictures were pretty good for some part, and the album information was helpful. The format on this page was pretty good, very neat and colourful. A good site to visit if you like Downer.
