Both Robert and I stress that graphics are an important part of a site. We also stress that you must have content to go along with the graphics. The better your graphics and content, the better your site is. Totally Unplugged does a good job with both graphics and content.
Graphics
Nirvana Totally Unplugged has some very good graphics. The main page is set up with a image map on the left side. The right side contains the site logo, which looks very good. Below the logo is the site news and a short introduction to the site. There is a banner below the news linked to In Bloom. The graphics on this page are exceptional. Hopefully Mike will find a way to make the image map load faster, possibly make it 2 separate images.
Information
The Articles section contains the suicide note, several miscellaneous articles, two articles about the Kurt's suicide(although one of the articles is actually the suicide note), and an article called Rock Whore Superstar. The Links section contained many good links, with only Nirvana links. The Memories section was pretty interesting. You can post your own memories at this page. Reviews are similar to what you find here. Special is a section which contains several different things, but you will have to visit the site to find out what is there. Vote for your favorite song next. Webrings and My Webring are the final two.
Multimedia
The Bootlegs section could go with information, but since it contains many sound clips to go along with the shows he has, i included it here. The Multimedia section contains sounds, movies, and downloads. The sounds section has Mp3s, Modules, Real Audio files, and bootleg samples. It also has links to sounds by bands related to Nirvana. The movies are from MTV and Geffen. The downloads have many different files and programs.
Conclusion
I really enjoyed this site. It has very good graphics, and although the content is limited, it can easily improve on that. Continue to work on your site Mike, you have a very good one, and I enjoyed reviewing this site, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to see a good Nirvana site.
