Pleasent's Nirvana page

Reviewed on 6/22/98

With a glance at the page, you can tell immediatly that this is a simple page. And simplitity can be deadly if you do not know what you are doing, or if you do not do it right. In this case, a broken picture. OK, sometimes a page has one or two broken pictures. But when you scroll down, however, you see a lot of broken pictures. Infact, you do not see any pictures whatsoever. However you will see time and time again that it does have the Nirvana logo, and they are in different forms.

And you will pretty much notice that this is a simple page. The black text, the white background, and the double spacing between each sentence (and not to forget the broken pictures) are all part of this page.

When you click on the lyrics, which is under the Nirvana logo you are able to see in the picture, you get this odd message, "-ERROR-(403): Access to object is _ruled_ out." Not to forget the other stuff, which does not make apparently does not make any sense.

Also under the lyrics will be Smiley's Chat Room. And yes, it does go there, I even checked on that. A good idea would not to give a link to someone else's chatroom, morever, you should get your own chatroom, and their are several free ones across the Internet. The next thing should scare you, not only does it contain another Nirvana logo, but it has "The Top 5 Songs for the Month of October." Eeech! And it definitly shows when the page was last updated.

Also for the month of October, the "Album of the Month" is Unplugged, and the album cover is a broken picture. If that was not convincing enough, do not bother looking at the album covers. For one, it does not contain all the albums, secondly, they are all "Error 401: File Not Found."

It also has a section, "From Mike's Page." Or the Nirvana Photo Gallery. I know this because of the way the sections are divided. You can also sign the guestbook and there is a short links page at the bottom. And if that wasn't shocking enough, then you should see the number of people that have visited this page.

Conclusion

It is not worth visiting. It is very sad that this page is not good enough. However, if you feel that you should help this guy out with the page, go to it and give him a long e-mail and do whatever you feel is necessary. I recommend only visiting this page if you are bored to death, and even then, I wouldn't recommend that.
