Welcome to the Julia Hayes Chat page! This page has been set up to allow people who have browsers supporting Java to chat online! Right now I don't have any regularly-scheduled conference times, but I'm up for suggestions! Post your suggestions on the Julia Hayes Fans Discussion Board and let me know what you think!
If you don't have a browser that supports Java, don't worry. There are two IRC, Internet Relay Chat, channels available as well for all of us Julia fans! Here is the information:
SERVER: Undernet
CHANNEL: #juliahayes
If you have problems with Undernet there is another channel available on the DALNet IRC network. Here is the DALNet information:
SERVER: DALNet
CHANNEL: #JuliaHayesFanClub
Note: while on DALNet look for the person/handle who sponsors this channel: AliceCooper
No times have been put into place yet for doing organized conferences, but hopefully we will have something in place soon. (Note: you will need a software package, like mIRC, to use Internet Relay Chat. You can download a software client for both Windows and Mac operating systems from the TUCOWS website.)
Ok, if you're all set to chat....just look at the area below. If you have nothing appears but a grey box or a large empty area that means you don't have a browser that supports Java and need to use IRC to particpate in chats. If, on the other hand you see a request for a user id, just fill in the information, hit OK Connect on the bottom of the screen and you will be chatting in no time!
