change, change, change.....

hello and welcome to yet another page dedicated to the crows. for all of you who have been to this address before and wondering where the hell "a little consideration...." is, well, don't panic, it's still here, just scroll down some more and you'll find it. the reason for the radical change is simply to pay a more suitable tribute to my favorite band. i guess it's pretty obvious who that is. ever since i put up my album reviews site, i've always been planning to put up a review of the crows work, but never really got around to doing it, not out of laziness, but out of simple fear that i wouldn't be able to do them any justice with what i would write about them, that, and the conclusion that whatever i would write wouldn't have been able to be contained in a single review. so the solution, just make THE page about them.

is anything different these days?

actually, if you think about it, this page doesn't really stray from what i meant to do with "a little consideration...." this page is still ultimately about MY music. which is still not very popular in the place where i'm from. many of my friends cannot understand why i like this band so much. over here they're considered one of them alternative "one shot wonders" who will basically fade away in time. well, to that, i give a big "SO WHAT?" they may be those "one shot wonders" but hell, they managed to do what no other group or artist have been able to do to me, and that's to really hit me with their words and music. and basically, that is all that matters.

so what does this page have to offer? well, nothing you'll find in other cc pages i hope. I figured that i really didn't want a "cut and paste" page made out of different crow pages here and there. and let's face it, just how many pages do you need to tell you about where the band is playing or when an album is coming out. the net's full of them already. instead, what i want to do with this page is to concentrate more on the songs and music of the crows themselves. a song strikes so many people in so many ways, and i'd like to show that with this page. initially, i have started with my own thoughts and feelings, but i hope that i won't be the last, i'm inviting everyone to send in their own thoughts or interpratations of their favorite crows songs. as a matter of fact, any written piece concerning the band or their music is MOST WELCOME. i'm not looking for perfectly written, english masterpieces, just true and honest feelings written down, long or short, positive or negative, i'll try my very best to post them up as soon as possible, untouched of course. Well, that's it i guess for the introduction, enjoy your stay and please come back. spread the word and i hope to hear from you soon.
