Michael Jude Christodal was born near Boston in 1970. He is the son of a professional folk musician who toured around Europe for awhile. Throughout highschool he pursued a wide variety of music, however he stopped altogether in college. He atteneded College of Charleston, Boston University, and Emory University. He has a degree in philosophy. In 1993, after he had resumed song writing he headed out to L.A. He did many odd jobs including working at a casting agency, where he swept floors among other things. In 1997 he signed with Maverick Records and in 1998 No One is Really Beautiful was released. (Somewhere along the way 430 N. Harper Ave. was released..however I have found no information about the release of this album.)
