Here is one of my favorite pictures. This is Metra 159. I know it is kind of hard to tell because of the slight blur on the front of the locomotive, from its fast rate of speed. This picture was taken in Wheaton on a bridge that goes over the 3 sets of tracks. It is the old Aurora-Elgin route which is now the Prarie Path. It was hard to get this picture and I wasn't sure I'd be able to get a good picture at all because this was actually taken through a link on the big tall chain link fence that was blocking my view. Luckily for me, the picture turned out. I am very happy with the results. The only evidence of the fence is in the lower left hand corner. What I did to get this picture was I pressed the camera against the fence so the lens was in the middle of the link. I then aimed it at a certain spot and just pushed the button when the locomotive was in that spot. I may go back to take more pictures in Wheaton sometime.
This train is the train that I rode on my way to Wheaton. It is now heading east-bound on it's way back to Chicago.
