Vial 8 (average age 17) formed in the summer of 97/98 doing Rancid and Op Ivy covers
Members: Tom McGuigan - Bass / Vocals, Joe McGuigan - Guitar / Vocals, Oliver Warburton - Drums, former lead singer -- Pat Carmody; their new lead singer's name's Jules (that's all i know at the moment) they just did a comback gig in early september with him the new vocalist...
Discography: Self titled EP and only had about 100 copies
Song list -- 1. Upper Hand, 2. Burning Out, 3. Juvenile, 4. Enough is Enough, 5. Lock Me Up and to my knowledge (ie the only ones i know of) they've appeared on compilations Punk O' Clock Too ("Lock Me Up" and "Burning Out") and File Under Ska #2 (Juvenile)

Vial 8 usual venues are the Tote, Punters Club, Midian rehearsal studios and occasionally the Corner.
Supported: H-Block 101(toured with them in fact 1999 to Sydney), No Idea, Mach Pelican and international bands Bouncing Souls and Voodoo Glow Skulls
Influences... obviously op ivy and rancid, they're also huge clash fans.
Vial 8 been described as "producing high energy shows with a message of strong social conscience" (from punk o clock sleeve), their genre is "punk and street ska" (from beat street press)
