The bassists I adore

This is my little underground tribute to who I think deserves a hearty pat-on-the-back. These are a few of the many hardworking, looked over, good looking bassists that grace the musical scene. Your opinions may be different but this stands as my page for now. If you want your own page tell me and I'll put one up with your ideas. Paige Haley from Orgy
Oh yes! One well loved for his good looks, fun attitude, charms, and drinking habits. I think he is one hot Jelly bean and the style in which he plays the bass is a major turn on. Swing those hips Paige baby!! The way he holds his bass and bobs and sways to the music is absolutely adorable. Ahh! I also love his hairstyle and his choice in wardrobe. Boy that boy can dress to please! Oh show me that big grin you got Paigey doll. Come on. I know your blushing. I can see you tryin' to hide it. You are too sweet to be sour and you got my vote in the elections!

Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers
So you say I'm too young to appreciate the Peppers? Well I do so HA! And I can't hold back my feelings for Flea any less. He is a genius. Awwww, now I got him a-blushin too. Flea is not ashamed for his playing, his hair, and his body, and I greatly respect that (since I'm very daring in the wardrobe and hair department). He hasn't a reason to be either. So he hides a little behind his bass you say? Hello! You think he'd contort his body in any way to please me? Anyway as long as he got less than two articles of clothing on I'm impressed. Yea, but that ain't the main reason I like him. There are way too many to list. Well to start off he ain't a shy one and he has a sense of humor apparent when he talks as well as when he performs (gotta show mad love for the tighty-whities though). Oh, love the hair. Especially blue and all curly like that. How sweet. What a clown. Loved his performance in "The chase" as well. Yes, now you all know it so go rent the movie. Out the door with ya's. Gotta represent ya' know. I be the one who gets to kiss him in the end scene (oh, wait, they cut that scene out). All decked out in nothin' is a-o-k with me.

Robby boy from Goo Goo Dolls
This bassist ,well he is kinda strange. And that would probably be the main reason I like him. Like his hair as well and his voice. I love his growling gurgled out whatever in which he sings. I don't know why? What kinda question is that? He's just got a cool voice cause' i say he does. It is different. I'm sick of hearing the same ol same ol and Robby boy is different. He ain't no ball-less choir boy (neither is John, i ain't slagging him). That was out of spite for boy bands. Not that they are horrible, I could just not stand that music. Too repetative. I also love his guitar decorations. I think he had the mcdonalds sticker which was very cute and i know it was either him or jon who had the pringles sticker on their guitar. His songs are cool cause they could have so many different meanings. You could take his lyrics and fit them into your life because they are so broad yet definate. I just love "January Friend". I'll add more when I decide to get more creative.

Jeeze where do I start. First I'd like to say that Anna is like a role model for me hehe! A woman who looks good and plays a mean bass! I just love the sound she creates, very heavy. I love everythin else to from hair to makeup to clothin. She makes bass look so strong and feminine! I love it! So women can't play bass huh?

Hara Toshimasa from Dir En Grey
My first impression of Toshiya was "That woman has great legs. I wish I had legs like that." Of course the first picture I saw of him was a macabre picture with thigh high boots. hehehe! I love those boots. Then I found out he was a man and was very very excited. My first impressions were all visual and superficial because my introduction to Dir En Grey, as well as j-rock, was viewing pictures off of tattered cloth and japanese channel that meliss found for one of our fics. Toshiya is in a visual rock band so it isn't too superficial eh? After I saw the pictures I got interested and researched them. I read interviews and fan impressions and even heard some music. I got to watch the dvds!!!!!!:) as well as the gauze vcd and I realized that Toshiya is very lovable, and you just want to cuddle him and all his sweetness. He can make a room light up. He has that sort of effect. What's so great is that he's popular with the ladies and the men. He's just soo hot! He's the only guy I know of that I would wish to look like from head to toe. The phrase "I would get a sex change just to be like you" was definately invented for him.
