Thursday Mornings with Mary-Anne and Her Exploding Sister
Important:Could this really happen? Has it ever happened? Well, I have included, for your novel minds, a handful of informative links on SHC. What I wrote is all fiction anyways so don't worry. And no one fear this happening to yourself.
Mary-Anne got out of bed and went through the same perfunctory morning before school on a thursday. Thursdays were days before fridays. Each day had a seperate pattern unnoticed to Mary-Anne. Well, on thursdays the first thing Mary-Anne does is run into her bedstand in search of a towel. After she yells a long stream of obsenities, which hang around her sister's head for a while and finally float off finding the current conditions unsuitable, she runs to the bathroom before her sister can get off the floor among the pile of dirty clothes she would be sniffing in search of a clean pair of socks. Two hours later Mary-Anne would emerge from the choking smog curling out of the bathroom, following her to her contacts. Blindly clinging to her towel she walks forward only to trip over Triste, her sis, who had passed out on the floor sniffing to many socks. This ultimately throws her bath towel off in front of her large, victorian pane which faces the town green. Traffic is busy during the morning down the route in front of her house, which is right next to the town green. Need I say more? Today she felt like kicking Krista awake for exposing her to the town.
Anyways Mary-Anne is boring. Let's to the truth shall we? SHC. I bet you don't know what that means if you are one of the Anne posse I meant of course. How does SHC relate to Mary-Anne? Spontaneous Human Combustion. I have analyzed the situation and I have been driven to conclude that her older sibling, Triste, is a potential victim of this phenomenon. There are many factors in Thursday morning which provide the perfect environment for a spontaneous combuster to combust in. Lets take a lil look at the stress level.
1.cannot find clothes
2.has to battle with Mary-Anne for the bathroom
3.has to make it to school on time
4.saw Mary-Anne naked (eww! that would definately stress one out no?)
There are also physical contributors to SHC.
1.gaseous fumes emmited from old socks
2.choking smog of Mary-Anne's two hour shower
3.kicked awake
So she explodes. There is Triste everywhere. Some vitreous humor splatters against the wall, giving the effect of a Monet watercolor that hit the fan. Brain matter cradles a few eye particles in its warm bath of pillowy flesh liquid on the floor. Blood marbelizes with the dew on Mary-Anne’s skin. Mary-Anne smears the paisley blood pattern on her arm and laughs for lack of experience in such matters.
Her sister exploded.
No ride to school.
It’s a mess.
How does a person go about exploding?
Mom has an explanation.
Mary-Anne calls for her mother, screams for her mother, and laughs for lack of experience in such matters.
