Lou Pearlman woke up early one day
And thought, America needs a boyband, since New Kids didn't stay
So off he went and held a talent show
He found 3 boys, but one said "No"
So Lou went over to the little blonde kid
And that little kid accepted, yes he sure did.
Now that was the beginning of the Backstreet Boys
But with only three members, they sounded like noise
A friend introduced them to 22 year old Kevin
Who then brought over Brian, whos voice sounds like Heaven
Then with five members, they sure could sound great
But they didn't get signed right away; they still had to wait.
They sang during recess, and dances at schools
But America wasn't accepting them, those darn stubborn fools.
Soon they were discovered, and quickly were signed
By big ol' Lou Pearlman who pretended to be kind.
So off to Europe they went in search of fame
Because over in Europe, pop music wasn't lame.
Soon they were famous, and full of success
But only if America would be kind and accept.
Canada was next; stores couldn't keep the CD in stock
Whenever there was a concert, Canadians would flock.
After patiently waiting, in the year of '98
The Boys started all over with their second album in the United States.
But every American asked this one question, without much luck
The CD's name was Backstreets Back? What the f*ck?
So why name the CD Backstreets Back? Where had they been?
You listen to me, just because they are not famous in the U.S doesn't mean
They aren't famous other places
For in Canada and Europe they were familiar faces.
That same year they realized that they had been gipped
Lou Pearlman took most of their money they made, and left them with zip
300 thousand dollars from the 10 million they made
To split between the 5 of them, they could barely get rent paid.
They tried to be nice about it, be good sports
But Pearlman was greedy, so they took him to court.
After a long grueling heering, it came to an end
The Boys had won, it was good they defend
Now they've released their third CD and it has been their most succesful
They shattered Garth Brooks record and made Britney detestful
Number one CD they have been for most weeks
And they cannot have a moment's rest, constantly being seeked.
Brian, Howie, AJ, Kevin and Nick
Train, Bone, Sweet D, Frack and Frick
Those 5 guys and their nics are the most famous in the world
And into the spotlight they had been hurled.
So show some respect, god only knows
They have been through a lot but try not it, to show.
Screaming girls folow them and they don't ask for it,
So don't say they are in it for the fame, it just doesn't fit.
I truly hope that it all payed off for each one
And I hope that their singing group never is done
I think that all 5 of them had made the right choice
When they agreed to become one of the Backstreet Boys.
