Oh wow!! Where do I start? Well, my aunt and uncle dropped my sister Kelly and I off at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, OR at 6:50 since the concert started at 7:30. I actually was so excited that I started to cry! Embarrassing yes, but hey, this was the first time that I got to see the BSB!!! What an experience!! Okay, on with the concert.

At exactly 7:30 the lights went out in the arena, and a spotlight came on the stage to where a BIG BLACK GUY (one of the bodyguards I think) was standing. "I don't wanna take up anymore of your time so I'll let someone you know VERY well take it over from here! Give it up for A.J. McLean!!!" Well A.J. is my ABSOLUTE favorite so you could tell that I bout died!!! A.J. then told a little about Aaron Carter, and then Aaron Carter came out and sang "Crush On You" and "Shake It" then he left the stage. Next on the stage came S.O.A.P. who sang "This Is How We Party" , "Ladidi Ladida" and "Stand By You". Then last came Jimmy Ray who sang "Are You Johnny Ray?" "Going to Vegas" and 2 others which I wasn't quite paying attention to...hey the BSB were backstage! I was more focused on that!! :oP

Finally the lights went out! The whole arena was screaming "BSB! BSB! Backstreet Boys! Backstreet Boys!" When they appeared, they came out with the opening song of singing songs by LL COOL J, Busta Rhymes, and NEXT which was pretty cool. After that, they started doing their solo songs. Howie came out in a red silk pajama get-up and sang (My heart belongs to you) and then next came A.J. (FAINT TIME) singing Lay Down Beside Me. Now I ask you. What would you do if the most hottest guy (well in my eyes) came out wearing a red silk pajama outfit with the buttons undone on the shirt, singing a song about...well the lyrics to Lay Down Beside Me is pretty self explanitory don't cha think? :o) So, after A.J. sang that....woowee....out came Kevin singing Nobody But You, and then out came Brian which sang his self-wrote song "That's What She Said" . This song was so cool! He brought out a guitar and stuff and it was so cute!! He had the whole crowd singing!! and last but not least is Nick who came out and sang (Heaven In Your Eyes) which I'm guessing probably made at least a good 60% of the girls bout die!! hehe So after they left the stage, they came back out and sang a bunch of songs like ALAYLM, AIHTG, INBYH, Darlin, Let's Have A Party, Roll With It, We've Got It Going On, Get Down, and they did QPG where they claimed the band members weren't playing it correctly and so the band members just said play it yourself! So they did!! It was a sceme to get the band members introduced! Pretty clever huh?

Well the ending of the show ended with clips of the video from Everybody, and right where Brian does his howl part in the beginning, the show started up, and they all came out in coffins and did their performance!! Although I'm sad that it's over, it's a night that I will never forget!! For all of you who think Kevin isn't all that cute, I'd like to say otherwise! THEY ALL ARE FINE IN PERSON!!! I'M NOT JOKING!!!! BUT AJ WILL BE MY BABY FOREVER!! KTBSPA!!!!! If you wanna e-mail me, e-mail me!!

You can e-mail her at:DarlingMe1@aol.com Hey,Well, it was Wednesday when my friend Linda invited me to a barbecue on Saturday....kinda bummed that I had no one to share a V-Day with, I wasn't really up to it until she told me who was going to be there. That's right, BsB. Somehow without me knowing, her father apparently know Howie's parents and they invited him to a barbecue at their place. Linda, kindhearted Linda, invited me knowing that I had a thing for BsB. You can imagine my excitement when Saturday rolls around. She and I both head down to downtown Orlando to meet up with her dad and Howie's parents. I wasn't really sure that I was going to meet the BsB, I was just glad to meet Howie's parents. They have a cute, wonderful house beside a lake. The front was pretty with flowers and stuff, and I didn't see a car so I figured we were early. Linda told me that it was going to be held in the backyard. So we head to the backyard and smell food and hear voices. Amazingly I stay calm throughout the whole experience. I got to meet the band members..Tommy and Obie are really cool guys. Dennis kinda scared me, he seemed a little rude but overall the BsB's band is very cool. Howie's parent's are awesome, very friendly and always joking I had the best time. I didn't even care if the Bsb showed up or not! Well, a red convertable roars up and out pops AJ, man is he gorgeous in person! He greeted everyone except for (duh) and just gave me a friendly handshake. Everything after that was a blur...Kevin either never showed up or I missed him because he didn't stay for long. Brian and Nick were acting like a bunch of adorable monkeys, giving each other piggy back rides. And I learned a lot about there tours....thanks to AJ. That boy never shuts up. It was great hearing him talk though....I'm not sure half the things coming out of his mouth were true, but I didn't care. He tells great stories. The funniest part was when Brian dropped his hotdog in the grass....he looked around to see if anyone noticed and than threw it in the lake! I was laughing so hard because he had the oddest look on his face as if he didn't know whether to put it back on the bun or throw it out....ew! Howie can really really cook! He made this spanish rice and his mother can really cook too. It was more than just hot dogs and burgers! There was one part during the convo though when Nick asked me with his mouth full, "Are you a fan or something?" I thought it was kinda rude and it put me on the spot so Linda and Howie both said, "We invited her" Whew... There were a lot of things that happen to them during their tour! I was so amazed I never really realized the stuff they go through. That thing with Leo snapping AJ's goggles was true...but there are two different versions, LoL. According to AJ...he had to be held back from beating Leo up, according to Brian...Kevin stepped up and the bodyguards were shrugged off by Leo. Never like Leonardo Dicaprio anyways.... This was also the first time I had ever seen Brian serious. We talked for almost an hour about fans, and their perspective, and on the media. It was a great convo and he spoke intelligently. I never thought I could have a crush on a superstar but I think he'll be the first, LoL. Yes, I'm going to end all the rumors now....Brian is seeing Leighanne. I don't know how long they have been dating but the rumors are starting pissing me off. Yes, AJ is seeing Amanda...no she is not pregnant. I didn't get into details and I don't really care if the relationships are serious or not. As long as they keep putting out good music I'll continue to buy their CD's. There are a lot of things I found out that day that changed my perspective completely. There are a lot of things that fans don't know abotu the BsB that they think they do. I took tons of crazy pics of Brian and the dock and Aj and his awesome convertable. I wish desperately that I had a scanner so I can show off to all my friends, lol. nope, I didn't get any addresses, numbers, or emails or anything like that. They did say that they hope to meet up with me again which I hope they meant because spending time with the band, the group, and Howie's fam was very very cool. I just thought I'd share this experience so that fans can get to know a little bit more of the truth. Thanks! BACK 2 the WILD place
