   This figure is tall and thin, with short tendrils, tied together, sticking out from the back of its head. Most of its face, apart from its glowing orange eyes, is obscuring by a long cloak, which covers most of the rest of its body. A glowing psionic blade is visible on one of its forearms.

Description

   Banished from Aiur for refusing to submit to the Khala, the Dark Templar have wandered throughout the far reaches of space for generations. These mighty warriors, drawing secret powers from the cold void of the cosmos, are able to bend light around themselves, which renders them virtually invisible. Armed with modified Psi-Blade technology, the Dark Templar relentlessly strive to protect their race and the ancient secrets of their tribes.

Combat
   The Dark Templar are rightly feared amongst their foes, for their attacks are swift, devastating, and a complete surprise to the unprepared.
  Greater Invisibility: The dark templar may use greater invisibility 3/day (6 minute duration).
  Invisibility: The dark templar may use invisibility at will.
  Plasma Shields (Su): The dark templar's shield points regenerate at a rate of 1 point per round.

  Severed Link: The dark templar has ceremoniously cut off the ends of the nerve appendages on the back of his head. This removed his telepathy ability, and imposes a -4 circumstance penalty to Charisma-based checks when dealing with non-dark templar Protoss.
  Warp Blade: When wielding a psi-blade on one arm (and nothing on the other), the dark templar may apply his Intelligence and Wisdom bonuses to his damage rolls with that weapon.
