   This man is dressed in a large, bulky space-suit, coloured red. Each arm is mounted with a flamethrower, connected to large tanks on his back.

Description

   Like standard Marine Infantry, Firebats are typically "culturally challenged persons" who have been Resocialized by the Confederate government. Equipped with powerful, twin arm-mounted "Perdition" flame throwers, these fearless warriors serve as assault troopers for those close encounters. Although their attack has a limited range, the flame throwers cause considerable damage to any target caught within the stream of fire. Firebat Combat Suits are heavier, more durable, and much more heat resistant than Marine armor, and provide additional squad-level support.

Combat
   The Firebats rush into relatively close range, and seek to barbeque foes with their flamethrowers. Like the Marines, they are expendable.
