Class Features
All of the following are Class Features of the high templar prestige class.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A high templar gains no additional weapon or armor proficiencies.
Khaydarin Amulet: A high templar can fashion a holy amulet from Khaydarin crystal, a potent item that can focus the templar's energies. It grants the templar 10 additional power points per high templar class level.  Khaydarin amulets take one day and 500 XP to create, and the templar must have a suitible crystal to craft the amulet from. They have AC 13, hardness 8, and 20 hit points.
Path of Adun: One of the first lessons of the Khala is how to close one's mind to the outside world. If a high templar previously had the rage ability, he is no longer able to use it. Instead, he focuses his mind and concentrates on his psionic potential. He gains a circumstance bonus to Concentration checks equal to half his high templar class levels, and a +2 morale bonus on Will saves.
Powers per Day: When a new high templar level is gained (save 1st and 5th level), the character gains new powers per day and new powers discovered as if he had also gained a level in whatever psionic class he belonged to before he added the advanced class. He does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. This essentially means that he adds the level of high templar to the level of whatever other psionic class (ie. psion) the character has, then determines powers per day, powers discovered, and manifester level accordingly.
If a character had more than one psionic class before he became a high templar, he must decide to which class he adds each level of high templar for the purpose of determining powers per day and powers discovered.
Psionic Power: A high templar can channel awe-inspiring power. At 3rd level, the high templar effective manifester level increases by +1 (for purposes of determining level-dependent spell variables such as damage dice or range, and manifester level checks only). The high templar also gains a +1 to the saving throw DC of any psionic powers he uses. These bonuses increase to +2 at 6th level, and increase by +1 every three level thereafter (9th, 12th, 15th, etc).
