Name: Michael Raine Maida

Birthdate: February 18th, 1970

Raine Maida 27 grew up in Weston Ontario as Michael Maida but changed his
name to Raine (his middle name) when he hooked up with Mike Turner. They thought two Mikes in a band would be confusing. Raine has one younger brother and his parents are divorced. Before Raine joined the band he was studying for a
degree in criminology at the University of T.O. I've heard he is going back to get his full degree. Oh and he prefers BOXERS!

Raine is the vocals of the group. He also plays guitar. He hurt his back a couple years ago, and playing the guitar in concerts helps his back stay balanced.
Raine majored in criminology, but quit school to be the vocals of Our Lady Peace.
