The flag is a tricolor of saffron, representing Hinduism on the top,

green, representing Islam on the bottom,

and white in the center representing peace in the secular nation.

The Buddhist chakra (wheel), associated with Ashoka (one of India's greatest

Buddhist kings) and is a national symbol, is centered in the white.
