(TOP) Penny Hardaway- His Story (HISTORY)

- Anfernee was born on July 18, 1971 in Memphis, Tennessee. His mother's name is Fae Hardaway (currently Fae Patterson), and his father's name is Eddie Golden. When he was young, he spent a lot of time with his grandmother, Louise Hardaway. Penny went to Treadwell High School, and later to the University of Memphis. He played two seasons at Memphis St. and then turned pro, after making two NCAA Tournament Appearances. He was chosen by the Golden State Warriors as the third pick in the 1993 NBA Draft, and then traded to the Orlando Magic for Chris Webber and 3 future draft picks. Anfernee started all 82 games in the 1993-1994 NBA season. He was voted rookie of the month in January, and came a close second behind Chris Webber for Rookie of the Year. He was also named to the 1994 NBA All-Rookie team. Penny started in his first All-Star Game in the 1994-95 season. In the 1994-95 season he also helped the Orlando Magic to a home record of 39-2, and to their first Eastern Conference Title and first NBA Final appearance. He started in the 1996 All-star Game and helped get the Orlando Magic to the playoffs again that season.

- As you can see by his accomplishments, Penny is tha illest basketball player out there. That is why I chose to make a page dedicated to Penny Hardaway. I think that everyone should know who he is and what he has done for tha best sport in tha world, Basketball. Other times, Penny is solid. Penny'll back his man down on the block and work him the old-fashioned way, with a dipped shoulder and a tidy little bank off the glass. Other times Penny puts his 200-plus pounds to work.

Either way, Penny's energy level is awesome. It's like he's got more juice than everyone else on the floor, big or small.

1) These are tha Air Penny Maxes. They came out around December 1995. They kids version looks alot like tha way-ups. This is tha adult version and it looks totally different. The side comes out alot more like tha foamposite pennies and they also have slits or cuts in them. They also have an air max bubble at tha back.
2) Now these are tha Pennies that came out sometime in December 1996, Air Penny 2. I bought a pair and some people are still getting them. I don't think bad of it sincethey are really cool shoes and they are very comfortable. What else did you expect from Nike's Air Zoom.
3) These are the Penny Foamposite which came out on Wednesday, June 11, 1997. They are tight and hella comfortable. I wear a size 8 shoe and I let my friend who wears a size 9 1/2 wear them and he said that they were hella comfortable. I would think they would be hella uncofortable but anyways.
4) These are tha Air Penny 3's that came out November 27, 1997. These shoes have Air Max
and are also Foamposites. I have these shoes and think they are very comfortable. I also think they look great and have good traction or grip. They are Penny's 4th pair of shoes from Nike.
5) These are also tha Air Penny 3's. They came out sometime in February. They don't look as good as tha black ones because they are blue and white, it looks funky. I hope tha black and white version is better.
