Welcome to the Kendra fan site for actress Bianca Lawson. I created this site since I am sure that Kendra will be back in future episodes helping Buffy with some sort of vampire mission. I think its great that Buffy has someone who knows what it is like to be a slayer. I always wished that Xander or Willow could actually participate in the slaying of vampires but, they can't do this since it is a dangerous job only left for the slayers to handle. Now there is finally another slayer who understands what it means to be a slayer and her name is Kendra.
Kendra (Bianca Lawson) is first introduced in the two part episode "What's My Line" where we find out that she is the new slayer who was sent in to replace Buffy Summers (Sarah Michelle Gellar) who died briefly at the end of season one in "Prophecy Girl." Kendra and Buffy are complete opposites but, they work together to save Angel who was kidnapped by Spike and Drusilla.
Kendra is played by actress Bianca Lawson formerly of Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Bianca has appeared in several television projects. She appeared on an episode of "Unsolved Mysteries." She was in the pilot episode of the critically acclaimed short lived teen drama, "My So-Called Life" featuring Claire Danes and Jared Leto.
She has appeared in numerous television commercials and was featured in The Artist Formerly Known as Prince and the R&B music group, The Boys music videos. Bianca appeared in Disney Channel's "Hollywood Lives" which showed the real life struggle of several young actors including R&B recording star, Brandy Norwood (Brandy).
Bianca guest starred on the WB series, "Sister, Sister" and was a cast member of UPN's "Goode Behavior"(1996-1997) which starred Sherman Hemsley best known from "The Jeffersons" and "Amen."
Believe it or not, before Bianca became the new slayer she was once cast as Cordelia Chase now played by actress Charisma Carpenter but, she had to give up that role because she was commited to the "Goode Behavior."
Bianca is the daughter of actor Richard Lawson who played on "All My Children" as Lucas Barnes from 1993-1994.
