PROJECT "VIRTUAL MONTREAL"

Project "Virtual Montreal" is a project to build the Montreal Subway System (Metro) in it's entirety in VRML. Currently, we are limited by VRML 1.0 Specs and would like to make the switch to VRML 2.0 (Moving Subways). Of course, there is still a lot of work to be done. Our project includes ALL Montreal subway stations, including small shops and maintenance areas. All we have at this moment is a dummy model of a metro station that we will use as a base for most of our metro stations. It includes two platforms, one passageway, and a small extension of the tunnels on either side. What we have currently can be viewed here keep in mind that we have only just begun the project and this is no indication of what it will look like when it is finished. To get to the point; this page is here to keep you informed about our progress and also to get new recruits.

If you wish to join the Virtual Montreal team, fiil in the form below and e-mail it to us, we really need your help so if you have any talents, don't keep them from us. We would appreciate anything you can give us, including object files, stations, or even maps of the subway system. Being from Montreal is a special plus because you can help us map the subway.
