TV Guide synopsis of this hour-long special went as follows: "At
the Grand Ole Opry, hostess Lucille Ball introduces Mel Tillis, Lynn Anderson,
Ronnie Milsap, Barbara Mandrell, the Oak Ridge Boys, Archie Campbell and
Tom T. Hall. Comedy inclues Lucy leading unruly members of the 'Nashville
Philharmonic' in 'Tennessee Waltz.'" The country songs sung in the
program include "How Nashville Got It's Name," "Desperado," "Sleeping Single
in a Double Bed," "Back on My Mind Again" and "Let's Take the Long Way
Around the World."
