- First I would like to publically apologize to TServo81@aol.com, for a mix-up that resulted in me having some of his sounds on my site. This was a complete mistake and I hope that this does not happen again. My sounds page has been updated though so visit my news sounds page which will be updated until the first anniversary of my site, June 3, 1998. http://www.oocities.org/TelevisionCity/7232/
-More torgo applications needed, I haven't looked at the last bunch yet because I like to do a lot of sites at a time! Visit my Torgo Application site. http://www.oocities.org/TelevisionCity/2888/torgo.html
NEW MIKE NELSON INTERVIEW ONLINE
The Oregon Voice, a satiric magazine (and web site) published by the students of the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, is running an interview with Mike Nelson in its newest issue. You can read the interview at http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/~ovoice/.
(We've been informed that the interview will appear in the annual Sex issue of the publication, but no, Mike does not shed his jumpsuit for it.)
JANUS COMPANY TO RELEASE "MST3K:TMK"
Janus Company is pleased to announce their new "Janus Lite" line of limited-edition hand-cast resin model kits. These kits will be a departure from the Janus line of Classic Horror figure dioramas. The first of this new series is MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000: THE MODEL KIT (MST3K:TMK), licensed by Best Brains, Inc. and the Sci-Fi Channel/USA Networks. The kit will be a 1/8th scale figure kit of Mike Nelson and his robot friends Tom Servo, Gypsy, and Crow T. Robot on the bridge of the Satellite of Love.
MST3K:TMK will be a stunningly authentic miniature recreation of Mike and the 'Bots that tens of thousands of "MSTies" have been waiting for for years! The Janus Lite figure kit represents the first licensed model based on the popular Sci-Fi Channel cable television series. MST3K:TMK, like the rest of the Janus Company figure kit line, will be a highly sought-after collectible!
The Mike Nelson figure will be sculpted by the talented Jeff Yagher, while the base and the 'Bots will be created by designer and robot miniaturist Tom Seiler. Package design and associated illustrations will be created by noted illustrator Gary Glover. Team Janus spent two days in the Minnesota studios of Best Brains, Inc., measuring and photographing the set, the 'Bots, and Mike Nelson. This visit was made to ensure a high degree of accuracy in portraying the characters' appearances and personalities. To paraphrase Tom Servo, "Check it out!" and as Crow would say "You know you want it, baby!" MST3K:TMK is scheduled for a June release. Price has not yet been determined.
Janus Company can be contacted at:
